My theory of everything, such theories seek a continuum in the material world. My theory of everything is nothing. Some scientists reckon rather than matter, consciousness is everything. Our consciousness perceives only a subset of everything, perhaps our perception is informed by culture. Quantum attempts to describe everything suggesting particles do not actualise a state without perception. There we go again, consciousness, we really must account for it.
Fundamentally we are human, have senses with which to perceive, a brain to reflect. Through our consciousness we aspire to know everything. We interact with others; laugh, cry, think. Our lives are filled with the everything of our choosing. We don’t perceive everything, only what humans can. This is more a theory of nothing. I liked Sartre’s notion of nothingness, nothing is a priori and we choose to give meaning.
