Fellow coma victims, as always time to return to the main point of this blog. Coma can be debilitating depending on where and how the brain was damaged. My walking is deteriorating again, a distance of 5 minutes now takes at least 15. I had improved to maybe 10. There has always been ups and downs, the brain is inconsistent and prone to change.

I suspect the new neurological pathway never becomes permanent, the brain still tries the old one and then reroutes. We don’t really understand the brain very well, where and how memory is stored. Indeed consciousness is pretty much unknown. As I’ve stated on this site it’s currently under scientific investigation, they think consciousness central to the universe. Maybe coma will provide evidence for theories of consciousness. Some scientists now say that consciousness is the universe, matter too requires consciousness.
