Warming

I recently watched the film ‘an inconvenient truth’, I might have seen it before coma. Global warming is now causing downpours, an idea in the film. Many people have seen it, if you haven’t I regard it as a must see. Scientifically it proves global warming, absolutely nobody could challenge the fact that global warming is happening and caused by human activity. My twin brother says I should stop flying around the world because of green house gases. Perhaps he is right but I couldn’t imagine a bigger sacrifice for me. It would only be a drop in the ocean but we do  need such actions from all people. It clearly is time for drastic action. If only Al Gore became president maybe this problem might not have developed as much as it has. Instead we choose to focus on other things like money, politics, elections, terrorism, sport etc, there isn’t very much about climate change on the news now given the Paris conference on climate change has ended. For global warming not to be man’s primary concern is actually suicidal for the human species. I think that global warming will dramatically alter our planet and it will make it extremely difficult for humans to survive. Many species have already become extinct because of climate change, soon polar bears will be added to the list, eventually human beings too.

  1. Wow, drovegno, my memory is so terrible now, you say we met in Singapore, Barclays. I really wish I could remember but I have problems with that… Thank you kindly for getting in touch, perhaps memories will return.

  2. I have only just come across your blog whilst having an early morning read on my phone. It really took me aback, I had no idea what you had been going through all these years since our paths crossed back in Singapore. We worked alongside each other for just over a year at Barcap, under Robin James. Arul, Jed and I were the global managers for Service Desk and you ran the global Service Request function.

I think your commitment to writing your blog is admirable and inspiring, so much so that I have this minute set my own account up with a view of working out a way of doing some good with it.

I’ve not had enough time to read right back into your blog’s as yet, but I plan to over the next few days.

Keep up the good fight Mat, I look forward to reading more of your blog from hereon and keeping up with your progress. 🙂
